What is a Website in Today’s Terms

Well as soon as I type and try to define what a website is today, this text on the page is going to become outdated and have to be amended and added to  The web industry is for every changing growing and now, a web presence and beyond is a necessity in business, and can be very confusing and appear complicated.

Where do I start? What do I Choose?

Generally speaking there are a group of main types of websites in todays web design and productions.

  • A Platform and Full Website builder solution – eg shoplifty, wix etc or the likes.
  • WordPress Platform (build your own) – this can be in many forms as well, also can be directly provided from the wordpress portal itself
  • Hire a Professional Website Designer. – He may also use wordpress as a core framework we will outline why the costing are so different, advantages and dissavandaves of these options.

The first option will always initially turn out the cheapest, or least expensive from a market entry point of view ( new business websites entering the internet for the very first time). The second a little more, and Hiring an Experienced Professional will always be the most expensive in regards to entry to the market.

But you have to be careful, although the first two options will appear to be the least expensive over time as your site grows and you require more and more from your website these initial options can get very expensive, very quickly, and before your know it your website is subscribed to all these things, inuring monthly cost way outweigh your initial budgets and expectations. eg. form 75 month to easily 300 or even thousands of dollars more.
